I'm a lift filmer from Dublin, Ireland. I've been filming lifts on this channel since 2019, but have been interested in lifts all my life! Primarily, I film in Ireland's capital city (Dublin); however I also film around Ireland and in Mainland Europe too.
As well as lifts, I also have an interest in transit and photography.

Unfortunately I can no longer guarantee an upload schedule due to real-life circumstances. However, when uploads come, I try to alternate between transport and lifts.

Smooth Otis Gen2 at Flamenca Village, Orihuela, Alicante

Apologies for the lack of uploads. I have been incredibly busy.
Here is one of the newest lifts in the Orihuela Costa area, the Flamenca Village lift. It looks like a standard Otis Gen2, but it has the orange LEDs and the door jamb lantern is actually upside down. When I went here, the intercom seemed to be stuck in a call loop as it activated without me even pressing the alarm button!

Nice! In Spain, only OTIS subsidiaries use the Orange fixtures and indicators. That includes (for example): Enor, Edelma, Pertor, Monter, Express...

Good video, it's interesting that the screen continues to give news even though it is not maintained by the company that put it there, it seems to me that the normal thing is to deactivate the news and leave the screen black but I see that is not the case, much better, the gen2 motor sounds very good
I think the eView screen was installed when Montes Eleva got the contract for the lift; last year it was maintained by Otis but only recently they’ve switched contract
OTIS Gen2s with orange illuminations are seemingly common in Spain. Multiple spanish lift firms are mounting these kind of Gen2s with unusual fixture lighting.

@@ytpchannel9467 What I did was I took a photograph of an Otis indicator with “8”, then made segments from each. Unfortunately I have lost those files now

For anyone looking to record high-quality announcements at Alicante, take the very far set of glass lifts at landside (under Burger King) down to level 1, then stand under the smallest round speaker outside the left-hand lift. The following intervals are when announcements play: XX:00 - Smoking is prohibited XX:05 - Consider wearing a mask at the airport XX:10 - Boarding calls are not announced XX:30 - Do not leave baggage unattended XX:35 - Maintain a safe distance XX:40 - Boarding calls are not announced

@@HappyPizza64I think they are running all day for the summer season now, Atleast for the blue carpark. either way I couldn’t get on one, going out I just missed it as it was going into service and on the way back if I had took longer in arrivals I would’ve got on it. I heard the evoras are going to be replaced with some irizar electric tram bus things, but route one deleted the article quickly so I assume they were wrong
@@BarrySG Yeah they seem to just be running on the blue shuttles at the moment, I heard AirCoach withdrew 2 of their 08-Ds and the last 09-D. When I departed Dublin around 7.30 on Thursday I saw one on the blue as I took off, but other than that it was all Evoras I saw. Yeah I heard that too. Would be a bit ridiculous to order in new vehicles straight after getting new ones

Did you finally found a backup of your old folders on Google Drive? If yes, then recover and finish your skyscrapersim building called The Square Town Centre.
Unfortunately the hard drive containing my old buildings is still broken. However, I am currently working on a new building which is visible on the Skyscrapersim forum

How does it go so fast yet being so big? My nearest IKEA has a 5000KG 66 Persons MRL one yet it goes 1m/s somehow. I wonder how they do it...
